From a business/career stand point, I feel more connected to what is going on in the local economy. I feel like greater Oak Brook is a hub for many large corporation, and still a community at the same time. I am able to have an impact. I am not just a face in a sea of people and it feels amazing when someone knows me. You get the best of the city dining, shopping, and entertainment, without having to deal with the frustrations that city life can bring. It’s also a great spot where the city isn’t too far away so should you want to partake in something downtown, you don’t have to travel too long to get there.
